Another Tissot Lady - The Bridesmaid

Well this has been my biggest challenge yet, I love the Tissot ladies they are so frilly and feminine,
this lady took quite some time to make and will be appearing at
Miniatura Dollshouse show in October.
I hope I have made a faithful reproduction here.

New Lady

I thought I'd show you one of my new ladies that I've made for Miniatura Dollshouse Show in October,
she is loosely based on the lady in the Tissot painting 'Too Early'.

Making for Miniatura

Sorry I haven't posted anything over the last few weeks I've been busy starting to make for Miniatura at the NEC Birmingham in October.  Yes I know it's in October but each doll I make takes at least a week to make and at the moment I am very low on stock so have to build some up.

I will try and post some pictures soon.

Summer Georgian afternoon dress

I found this beautiful fabric last week and though it would be perfect for a summer dress.
I've used a gorgeous old babys dress for the fabric of the underskirt adding a piece of matching ribbon into the lace.
This lady will soon be available on my website £125.

Very bad blogger again!

I've been a very bad blogger the last couple of weeks again.  I've been pouring dolls and china painting, hopefully the last china paint is in the kiln at the moment. I needed to stock up on dolls so they are all ready to dress.  I was also running out of hands and legs (I always for some reason end up with about ten left hands and feet and no matching right hands and feet!!) I think this is a dollmakers curse because it happens to everyone. I've also been catching up on some commissions.
I've attached a picture of a maid I've just completed for a customer.
