1/24th scale Georgian Lady

Well I've been playing with clay!  I've made this lady using a 1/24th doll mold but with clay, I had to sculpt the arms myself which wasn't too difficult. I've been meaning to make some 1/24th scale ladies for some time now and she was great fun to do. I'd be interested in hearing any comments about her and how I can improve.
I have taken a couple of photos with her next to a £1 coin so you can how tiny she is.

This weeks new lady!

This week new lady is an older lady sitting in her parlour with her family singing. This lady is made from a resin kit by Sherri Colvin of the Colvin Studio which I painted and put together myself.

The kit was easy to put together following Sherri's instructions and is made from a lovely flesh coloured resin and is really light to hold.  I'm really pleased with the way she's turned out.

Sherri has made this doll up as a Carol Singer take a look at her two sites one for kits http://minidollkit.com/ and one for her beautiful dolls.

New doll

I haven't been keeping up to date for the last few weeks.  I took a bit of a breather and now back to catching up with commissions.  Here is another Deco lady that I have just finished for a customer.
The doll was beautifully painted for me by Gina Bellous, I wish I could paint like her!!

Back from Miniatura

Well, home from the show. I must firstly say a huge thank you to Debie from Piskies and Poppets who helped me throughout the weekend, we had a great time chatting and seeing our customers and other standholders.  It was also great to meet Janine Crocker of Miss Amelia's Miniatures who had flown in from Lanzarote for the weekend, although we've been email friends for ages it was nice to actually meet face to face.
It was very strange this weekend it seemed as though there a lot less people through the doors on both days. The weather didn't help much on Sunday as it was absolutely pouring down!
The show wasn't great for me and I will not be exhibiting at Miniatura in the future.

You will however be able to see my dolls on 19th February at The Thame Dollshouse Fair.

So if you'd like to see my new dolls that are available for sale please visit my website
http://www.dollshousedolls.co.uk/ I am in the process putting new dolls and other items onto my site this week.

Miniatura this weekend

At the show this weekend I have Debie Lyons of Piskies and Poppets http://www.piskiesandpoppets.com/  giving me a hand on both days, so if you know Debie please stop by and say hello.

I am also going to have a small selection of Miss Amelias Miniature work on my Stand C6 at Miniatura this weekend. http://www.missameliasminiatures.com/
Even better news Miss Amelia herself will be flying in for the show as a visitor and she will be at my stand  between 12 and 1 each day if you would like to come and say hello. We have been collaborating on some Steampunk themed items, so if you don't know what Steampunk is all about come and have a look.

This is another pair of dolls that will available at the show.
