Land Girls and Ice Queen

These are some of the ladies I've been working on this week.

This lady I call the Ice Queen, her dress is made from sparkle tulle and she sparkles in the light.
Pattern adapted from Lady Starlight pattern from Dana Burton.

I've been watching the Land Girls on TV
and decided to make a couple.
They will be available at Thame Fair on 19th February.

1/24th scale Mannequin

I've been making a few new dolls this week for Thame Dollshouse Fair on 19th February.
The first was this 1/24th scale mannequin which took me nearly three days to make due to all the ruched silk ribbon on it. I enjoyed making something so different but decided that I will make these on a commission only basis in future.  If you would be interested in having one made email me at marysdolls@gmail.com.
It's photographed with a £1 coin next to it.

Belated Happy New Year

Happy New Year and Welcome to all of my new followers.

Well I thought I'd just pop in to say a belated Happy New Year and to welcome my new followers.
I had a very quiet Christmas and haven't kept up with my blog
so I thought I'd post a pic of some dolls dolls I've been making.

They will be making their debut at Thame Dollshouse Fair on the 19th February
follow this link to see who else will be attending

I've had these little dolls sitting around for a couple of years
and thought I'd better make use of them.
